The Apollo Hotel is set in attractive grounds just two miles from the city centre and with excellent transport and road links. The hotel offers a hundred and twenty rooms all with private bathrooms and a single room is £60 a night but if you book ahead and go during offer times the rate is only £40 a night. All rooms have facilities for making tea and coffee, satellite television, direct dial telephone, complimentary internet access and a hairdryer. The rooms consist of single or twin, double, triple and family rooms, a quad room and three suites. Suites have a separate sitting room and bedroom.

Hot and cold buffet breakfasts are sold in the dining room where guests can also get a light lunch and a three course meal in the evenings. The Apollo offers a speciality Sunday lunch for friends and families though it is wise to make reservations in advance for this. From time to time the Apollo hotel offers special rates on rooms and conferences and the hire of meeting rooms. The hotel has a total of seven air conditioned meeting rooms that can accommodate from six up to a hundred and forty people. Onsite parking is available free of charge to guests and conference delegates.

There is a range of business facilities for conferences and events, including flip charts and screens, and the Apollo charges a daily rate of £27.50 per delegate other than when there is a special offer. The cost includes room hire, three servings of tea or coffee. and a two course hot and cold buffet in the dining room. Some conferences extend over 24 hours and the rate for those is £75 a delegate including all the above a two course dinner in the restaurant and a buffet breakfast the following morning.
